As we journey through Lent, we are reminded of the deep call to live out our faith through acts of service and compassion. This year, we are excited to participate in the ELCA Good Gifts fundraiser: a powerful way to extend Christ's love to those in need around the world.

Messiah's goal is to raise $5000 which will provide essential animals and resources to families is developing countries.
These gifts are more than just a donation: they are opportunities to change lives, offering sustainable solutions to hunger, poverty, and economic hardship.Â
Here's how you can make an impact:Â
$10 for Chicks - Provides a family with chicks to create a steady source of eggs and poultry for food, as well as income when the eggs or chickens are sold.Â
$20 for Honeybees - Provides honey to eat, beeswax that allows a farmer to start a small business selling their products; and bees pollinate plants as they buzz around.Â
$30 for a Piglet - Provides a family with the opportunity to raise and sell pigs, which can be a critical source of income in rural areas.Â
$50 for a Goat - Goats are resilient animals that provide milk, meat, and even wool, and they can help families start their own small-scale farming business.Â
$250 for Fish - Fish farming allows communities to provide nutritious food while creating a sustainable source of income.Â
$500 for Cows - A cow can provide a family with fresh milk, helping nourish children and create income by selling milk and dairy products.Â
Our Lenten Giving Goal is $5,000 now through Easter Sunday.
Together we can make a lasting difference and bring the hope of a new life to people across the globe.
You can give online by text, or in-person in the offering plate.
