Christian Education
Join us for engaging programs that help children grow in faith.
At Messiah, we are planting seeds of faith that last—and you are invited to join us in growing something eternal. Whether you’re joining Sunday School for the first time, moving up to Club 56, or settling into Confirmation, we’re so glad you’re here.
At Messiah, our prayer is simple: that every child knows they are loved by God and welcomed by this church.

Sunday School
We are using Group’s Simply Loved. Each lesson helps kids experience God’s love through Bible stories, hands-on activities, music, and age-appropriate discussion. It’s designed to keep things simple and engaging for kids, with take-home pieces to help you keep the conversation going all week long.
Kim Stromberg has joined the team as our part-time Children, Youth, and Family Coordinator.

"Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs."
— Matthew 19:14 (NRSV)
Club 56

Club 56
This year, students will begin the first level of the P.R.A.Y. Curriculum with Bud, our Youth Director. They’ll explore how faith and family connect, reflect on their heritage, discover the call to serve, and learn what it means to belong to God’s family. Each lesson will connect with an Old Testament story, helping students build a strong foundation of faith and life skills.
Bud Schenk is Messiah's Youth Director and leads Club 56 and Confirmation curriculum and programming.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."
— Proverbs 3:5-6 (NRSV)
A Note From Pastor Laurie

Welcome!
We are excited for the new year. Together we’ll explore big stories, ask big questions, and discover how faith weaves into everyday life—with plenty of fun along the way. Bring your curiosity, your laughter, and maybe even your wiggle energy—we’ll put it all to good use!
