Celebrate Ash Wednesday at Messiah on February 18

As we enter the holy season of Lent, we invite you to walk this sacred journey with us at Messiah. Lent is a time of reflection, repentance, and renewal—a time to slow down, listen, and turn our hearts toward God.

Our Lenten season begins with Ash Wednesday on February 18, 2026, marking the start of this 40-day journey toward Easter.

Join us in the sanctuary from 6:00–7:00 p.m. for a meaningful Ash Wednesday worship service that includes the imposition of ashes—a powerful reminder of God’s grace and our call to live faithfully.

Beginning on Ash Wednesday and continuing every Wednesday throughout Lent, weekly Lenten worship services will be held in the sanctuary at 6:00 p.m. These services will follow the beautiful and contemplative Holden Evening Prayer, a beloved service that invites quiet reflection, scripture, and song in a peaceful, candlelit setting.

Please note that WOW (Wednesday activities) will pause during Lent and resume after Easter, allowing space for this season of worship and spiritual focus.
