Adult Bible Study at Messiah This Fall

Rediscover Your Faith with our Adult Bible Study at Messiah Lutheran Church. As we settle into the rhythm of fall, we’re excited to invite you to a special Adult Bible Study led by Pastor Jeff Johnson.

Have you ever thought back to your Confirmation Classes and wondered about parts you didn’t fully grasp—or questions you were too shy to ask as a kid? Whether it’s been years since your confirmation or you simply want a refresher, this study is for you!

Join us after the 9:00 a.m. worship service in the Conference Room, by the coffee serving table, for “Martin Luther’s Small Catechism for Adults.” 

Written in 1529 in a simple question-and-answer format, the Small Catechism explores the Six Chief Parts of Christian Doctrine:

• The Ten Commandments

• The Apostles’ Creed

• The Lord’s Prayer

• The Sacrament of Holy Baptism

• Confession

• The Sacrament of the Altar

Together, we’ll study these foundational teachings, discuss your questions, and enjoy fellowship over a cup of coffee.
